Christopher was born in 1968 and lives and works in Nottawa, Ontario, Canada.
After graduating from Queens University, Christopher attended the Ontario College of Art where he developed a keen interest in painting ‘en plein air.’ During this period he reconnected with a group of friends who had attended the same high school and were equally drawn to painting in the wilderness. Together they formed the artist collective Drawnonward.
Christopher has now been an active member of Drawnonward for over ten years. Together the seven artists have garnered numerous sponsorships, including a six-year sponsorship from Scotia Capital Markets. The group has hiked and painted some of Canada’s most spectacular landscape from Queen Charlotte Islands to the Arctic, and has been featured in several documentaries including “Seven Painters Seven Places,” as seen on Bravo! and CBC networks.
